Victoria - Members of local First Nations and the Public Service Alliance of Canada are pleased to be holding a Sacred Water Ceremony on the territory known as Lekwungen of Songhees & Esquimalt First Nations on December 10th, International Human Rights Day.

Surrey - The Public Service Alliance of Canada is sponsoring a candlelight vigil at Holland Park in Surrey on December 6th, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada.

The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, formally opened the Canadian Coast Guard Kitsilano Base today, and announced that it will be expanded to include emergency environmental response and emergency response training.

VANCOUVER, June 8, 2016 /CNW/ - Public Service Alliance of Canada members who work within Treasury Board, Parks Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are taking part in actions in Vancouver, Victoria and cities across British Columbia today.

Their aim is to send a clear message to the government that they expect a quick and fair approach to contract negotiations when the union and Treasury Board negotiators return to the bargaining table this month. 

Media Advisory: On June 8, the Public Service Alliance of Canada will be mobilizing its members who work with Treasury Board, including at Parks Canada, the Canadian Border Service Agency, Canada Revenue Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection to demand a quick and fair resolution to contract negotiations with their employers and to support their bargaining teams.
