PSAC members across BC are organizing bargaining solidarity events - standing together for healthy workplaces and protesting proposed government changes to sick leave and cuts to public services. Here are some photos.
On March 18th hundreds of PSAC/UTE members in BC - joined by colleagues from PIPSC - along with members from across the country took action today to send the employer and the government a message ... we support our bargaining team and we call on CRA and the Government to negotiate a fair contract. Lots more photos here!
On March 19th PSAC members working for Treasury Board, joined by sisters and brothers from PIPSC, CAPE, IBEW, the Dockyards Trades & Labour Council, other unions, local politicians and allies in the community gathered at events to send a message to Treasury Board ... Because healthy workplaces are more productive workplaces and as federal public service workers we want to provide quality public services to all Canadians. Today we are saying NO to a government and employer that has contributed to our toxic workplaces and, to make matters worse, is now proposing a “go to work sick” plan. More photos!
