Our NAV CAN bargaining team continued negotiations May 7 - 11, 2018 in Ottawa.

Our PSAC/UCTE bargaining team met with the Employer January 29 - February 2 in Ottawa. While the pace was slow, we were able to exchange vital information with the Employer, negotiate terms, and sign off on additional language changes to the collective agreement. Greg McGillis, PSAC Regional Executive Vice-President for the National Capital Region, joined the team this week and was introduced to the Employer's negotiating team.

PSAC’s website now helps members connect with their local union representative. Find your local union contact and your collective agreement By choosing their employer, their job classification and the closest city to where they live, PSAC member can get phone and web contact information for their component or local as well as a link to their collective agreement.  The system is aimed at getting PSAC members answers to their questions about their job faster.

PSAC will be conducting a large poll of the membership as part of its ongoing process to ensure that your voices are heard and that your priorities are reflected in the work of our union.Environics Research Group, a well-known and respected polling firm, will be conducting the online survey for PSAC, asking questions about union priorities.

The PSAC/Nav Canada bargaining team reached a tentative agreement on October 27th and a ratification vote has been scheduled for PSAC/UCTE Local 20222 members.Thursday, November 13, 2014Hours: 1100-1300Location: Room 1156C - 7421 135th Street, SurreyBargaining Team Member, Michelle Webster and UCTE RVP-Pacific, Dave Clark, will be on hand to answer any questions.

To: PSAC DCL and Separate Employer Unit Locals.Per section 9 of the PSAC BC Regional Bylaws, we will be holding an election for a delegate to represent Directly Chartered Locals and Separate Employer Units (who are not entitled to an automatic delegate) at the upcoming PSAC BC Regional Convention.

PSAC has asked Treasury Board to provide a definitive answer about their plans to implement pay in arrears and what they intend to do to protect PSAC members from the impact of any changes.The union has continued to discuss the matter with Treasury Board over the summer and we remain positive that the issue can be resolved so that our members do not suffer financial hardship.
