Meeting Agenda

Halloween is the last payday of the month and PSAC members across the province are gearing up to take action.

On October 31, we'll tell the government they have to do more to solve pay problems and that they must negotiate a collective agreement that recognizes the value our work. PSAC members are still Here For Canada, despite over two years of not getting paid properly ...

Federal public service workers are showing up every day to deliver crucial services we all depend on—even though they stopped getting paid properly. Over 200,000 workers and their families are still suffering financial and emotional fallout from the Phoenix pay system disaster.

Halloween is almost here. This will mark the second anniversary of members engaging in large scale actions and mobilization around the Phoenix pay system.

For several years, the Phoenix payroll system has not only disrupted our members’ pay, but it has also been collecting incorrect amounts of membership dues. Nearly 150,000 workers have been affected by this issue. After a lengthy delay, the government has brought changes to its system that allow for the correct amount in dues to be paid. PSAC members will begin to see the correct amount on their paycheques starting November 14th. For more information, here are some Frequently Asked Questions on Phoenix and Union Dues.
