National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women event

On December 6th, 1989 at L’École Polytechnique in Montréal fourteen women were murdered. The purpose of the event is to commemorate the “Montréal Massacre.” There will be drummers, speakers, and poets who will be performing at the event. The event focuses on remembering the innocent lives of these women that were taken away, as well as ending violence against women. Reception to follow. Everyone is welcome to attend the event.
