Speakers:

  • Darla Tomelan, RCIC, originally from the Philippines, immigrated to Canada in 1994. She has been involved in anti­ oppression and anti-violence work for more than 20 years. She is a Canadian Immigration Consultant and a member of both the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council and the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants.
  • Cecilia Tumolva, was a caregiver-migrant worker turned social justice and social equity advocate, early childhood educator and BC qualified teacher. She came to Canada as a caregiver migrant worker through the Foreign Domestic Movement Program. She facilitates workshops that support respect, embrace differences , & promotes equity and positive change within and around her.
