New collective agreement for members working at ARINC

PSAC is happy to announce that a new collective agreement has been ratified by members of PSAC/UCTE Local 20221 working at ARINC, who provide IT support and help-desk services at Vancouver International Airport.

The new contract, which expires in May 2020 contains salary improvements, the introduction of a long service premium, and the replacement of the requirement for three consecutive unpaid sick leave days with paid sick leave to commence on the first day of illness. Gains were also made in the bidding process for vacation leave and improvements in working condition language were made throughout the Collective Agreement.
