PSAC BC sends solidarity and support to communities affected by wildfires.

PSAC BC would like to extend our support and solidarity to the people and the communities affected by wildfires burning in the interior of British Columbia. As of today, the BC Wildfire Service reports that crews are battling about 225 fires.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected and of course with those who are fighting the fires, assisting with aid and evacuation efforts, and helping in many other ways.

PSAC BC will be making a donation to the Red Cross to assist them in their relief efforts. We encourage PSAC components, locals, regional committees, and members to do the same.
