A historic couple of days for members in BC, as the first ever constitutionally recognized PSAC Young Worker Committees held their founding meetings and recieved their charters earlier this month in Victoria and Vancouver.
Delegates to the PSAC National Convention in 2012 approved a resolution to create these new regional Young Worker Committees. These committees will provide members 30 years of age and under with a forum to build solidarity, share knowledge and develop skills and to discuss the impacts of current issues on young workers.
