The BC Federation of Labour is currently seeking young worker facilitators from all over the province to facilitate the Labour Education Program delivered by the Employee Action & Rights Network (EARN). This program brings young union members into classrooms to talk about Employment Standards, unions, and the role unions play in society.
The training to facilitate Labour Ed includes EARN organizer training as often questions come up about situations students face at work. Training for Labour Ed facilitators also includes training in facilitation skills. Over the past six years, the Program’s young workers have spoken to over 25,000 high school students in 22 communities across the province.
The Federation is currently in need of more facilitators and EARN activists all over the province, and particularly on the Sunshine Coast, the Lower Mainland, Prince George and the North Coast. If you are a young activist who would like to take part in this program, please complete the application form below and return it to the BC Fed.
