December 3rd is International Day for Persons With Disabilities - With the cuts to public services there is even less support and resources for people with disabilities. Read the PSAC statement.
December 6th is National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
PSAC is helping organize two vigils on Dec 6 - Holland Park in Surrey at 4:30PM and Holland Park in Victoria at 4PM and others are scheduled throughout the province. We encourage you to attend a vigil in your community.
Festive Meet and Greet - the Victoria Area Council, Vancouver Island Human Rights Committee, Victoria Regional Women’s Committee, Vancouver Island Young Workers Committee and the South Vancouver Island Regional Council Coordinators all invite you to a Festive Meet & Greet on December 9th at the Victoria Office.
