PSAC BC Young Worker Activists Gather in Vancouver

Representatives from PSAC BC's two Young Worker Committees gathered in Vancouver on the last weekend of November to network, get some training on mobilization and recruitment, and to create a strategic plan for young workers in the Region.

The group also heard from A/REVP Jamey Mills, who got his start as a union activist as the Young Worker's Coordinator on the BC Regional Council, and from George Christou, the co-chair of the Vancouver & District Labour Council's Young Worker Committee, and participated in the BC Federation of Labour's 2014 Young Workers Mock Convention, where they networked and learned from activists from other unions.

We're looking forward to seeing what our Young Worker Caucus has planned for the future!
