  1. Here's is all the information that you should need for next Wednesday’s (15JUN2016) PSAC tournament at Douglas Park.  There is a roster sheet that should be completed and submitted for insurance purposes, the rules for the day, schedule, map of the park to identify which diamond is which and score sheets to be used and submitted at the end of each game. As I had a last minute cancellation we have 7 teams which is a bit of a scheduling nightmare. To accommodate this I drew team names from a hat and the EH! Team is getting a 1 game bye considered as a win for the round robin. Additionally, 2 teams will have an early start (ECCC and CRA Team/Matsui) at 8am and play 45 minutes (decided by being the last 2 teams to register).
  2. Bases – I need 3 teams to bring bases please (please email me to confirm you can do this)
  3. BBQ lunch – there is a lunch break between 12:00 & 1:00 at which time there will be smokies available for all participants.  PLEASE provide the organizers with an estimate of number of players on your team to help ensure there is enough food and beverages, this includes having vegetarians self-identify!  There is no cost for the BBQ.
  4. Bottled Water/beverages – will be provided at no cost
  5. First Aid – we would like to have a person with their first aid self-identify for each team to serve as first aid attendants should it be needed throughout the day.  The organizers will have a small first aid kit available.
  6. Registration fees - $10/person with proceeds going to the Vancouver Metro Alliance
  7. Field – the tournament will be played at Douglas Park in Vancouver, located at 801 West 22nd Avenue (http://goo.gl/maps/I27rd ), see attached to identify which diamond is which
  8. This is a 7/3 tournament which means you can have no more than 7 males on the field and no less than 3 females on the field at one time.  All players can bat and the order should be guy/girl/guy/girl, with the exception that two males can bat back to back twice within your batting order.  Substitutions can be made in the field throughout the game as long as that person is in the batting order.  All the rules are explained in the attachments.  If there are any questions please let Jamey know.
