BC Fed Political Action Campaign School - Campbell River

November 3, 2012
8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Campbell River Labour Hall, 830-14th Avenue, Campbell River, BC (Map)

There are a lot of changes happening in BC’s political world right now. Are you concerned about what the BC Liberals have done to our province? Are you ready for a better government? Would you like to get involved? If so, this one-day crash course is perfect for you.

Come out and meet others who want to talk politics.

We’ll brush up on issues like the economy, workers’ rights, seniors’ issues and health care and how to discuss these issues with co-workers. We will also talk about how we can work together in the pre-election period. We will focus on effective letters to the editor, radio call-in shows, lobbying and persuading your neighbours.

You’ll leave the workshop with fact sheets on key issues, new friends in your community and the motivation and skills you need to be part of the 2013 election campaign.
