BC Federation of Labour Community Christmas Dinner

For the 17th year the BC Federation of Labour is organizing a Christmas Dinner for those in the community who are less fortunate. They are served a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings, music, carol sing-a-longs, gifts from Santa for every child and teenager, a visit to the boutique, and a food hamper.

The dinner is being held on Saturday, December 24 at the Maritime Labour Centre, 1880 Triumph Street (at Victoria Drive), Vancouver and the Whalley Legion in Surrey.

Volunteers are needed to help set up for and serve dinner, fill hampers, and sort toys and clothes in Surrey and in Vancouver.

  • December 22nd - filling hampers, sorting toys and clothes for Surrey - 10:00 am;
  • December 23rd - filling hampers, setting up the hall and sorting clothes for Vancouver - 10:00 am
  • December 24th - working at the Dinners

Donations if you have any clothes new or used - (please, no soiled or ripped clothing), new toys, canned goods or a cash donation, please deliver to the Maritime Labour Centre on December 22nd.
