Rally to Save the Kits Coast Guard Station

Stephen Harper and the Conservatives will shut down the Kitsilano Coast Guard Search & Rescue station.

I have asked questions and made speeches in the House of Commons and in the media, but this government refuses to listen.

The Kits Coast Guard station saves lives. Vancouver City Council, the vessel traffic controllers at the Port, and Vancouver’s first responders agree: if the Conservatives close this station, lives may be lost.

You can help. I’m hosting a rally outside the Kits Coast Guard Station (1661 Whyte Avenue at Kits Point) on Saturday, September 29 at 10:30am.
