Vancouver Island Human Rights Committee AGM (note new date)

Light snacks will be served, please indicate in your RSVP to Rosemary MacKenzie mackenr@psac.com if any dietary restrictions

The Vancouver Island Human Rights Committee (VIHRC) will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday January 15th , 2020.  The AGM will take place at the PSAC Victoria Regional Office Boardroom (210-1497 Admirals Rd) and will commence at 5:30 p.m. Light snacks & drinks will be provided. Bring another PSAC member with you!  Please forward any agenda items to Kim Tenhunen wrayth@shaw.ca  

Current agenda items include:

  1. Welcome & Introductions
  2. Treasurer’s Report
    • Approval of the 2020 budget
  3. Approval of previous minutes
  4. Party Planning for January 22nd 2020 If there was enough interest from the RSVP.
  5. Election of the following Executive positions:
    • President
    • Vice President
    • Treasurer
    • Member & Media Relations Officer
    • Technical Communications Officer
  6. New Business
    • Plan volunteers/resources for events in 2020
  7. Set date for next General Meeting.

The committee recognizes that not every member wishing to participate is able to attend the meeting in person and as such we will provide teleconference coordinates for those who wish to participate from outside the meeting venue. Please indicate in your RSVP that you will be calling into the meeting.
