PSAC at Pride Celebrations in Vancouver

Pride Parade & Festival in Vancouver: All PSAC members are invited!

This year's parade and festivities are on Sunday July 31, 2016. This event is the single largest pride event in western Canada with over 600,000 spectators and is an amazing opportunity for us be visible, and to raise awareness of what the labour movement and PSAC has accomplished and is fighting for human rights, workers' rights, and the Canadian public.

There are two options for participation

Marching in the parade - PSAC is officially marching in the parade with the BC Federation of Labour's Multi-union Pride contingent alongside our fellow union friends. It is a very energetic, exciting, and fun time! Bottled water is provided but please bring sun screen and good walking shoes. The Multi-union Pride group is staging at location EW4, on Thurlow Street, between Haro and Robson and marchers must arrive by 12:15 PM. Please email Todd at twmsmith@gmail.com for more information.

Staffing the PSAC booth at Sunset Beach - We will have the PSAC tent and tables set up at Sunset Beach with information about PSAC, our campaigns and issues, and the work our members do. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow union members and the public and it is always a great day! Please contact Paul Croes if you're interested in volunteering at Paul.Croes@gmail.com.
