West Fraser Valley Area Council meeting

The West Fraser Valley Area Council has scheduled a special meeting, Wednesday February 24th 5:30PM at Knight and Day Restaurant, 9677 King George Boulevard, Surrey to discuss lobbying local MPs in the lead-up to the federal budget and beyond.

PSAC members across the country are engaging in a lobbying initiative designed to establish a connection with new MPs, and reconnect with returning MPs. We are asking the new government to reinvest in public services and to repeal the sections of Bill C-4 (2013) that restrict collective bargaining rights and put the health and safety of our members at risk and we are asking opposition MPs to support these objectives.

Join us at this special meeting where we will discuss these objectives, hear more about the campaign, and plan for some MP lobbying in the near future.
