Join the Kwantlen Public Interest Research Group at the Surrey Central Library on Thursday, June 28th for a free screening of Migrant Dreams by Min Sook Lee. The film takes an in-depth look at the realities of migrant workers who come to Canada under the Temporary Foreign Worker’s Program: “A group of migrant farm workers dare to resist the systemic oppression and exploitation from their brokers, employers and Canadian government in small-town Ontario.”
After the screening, there will be have a guided discussion about what we have collectively learned and how we can organize towards migrant justice.
