JP Fortin, national president of the Customs and Immigration Union along with members working at CBSA and the Correctional Service of Canada joined forces at a spirited rally and media event on February 5th at Peace Arch border crossing, reminding the government that PSAC members will continue to mobilize until we get a fair collective agreement. Nearly 140,000 PSAC members have been waiting two years for a new collective agreement. The government must come to the table with a new mandate that includes proper compensation for Phoenix and a fair wage increase.
