March 8 is International Women's Day, a global day of recognition celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and girls, and raising awareness of the work left to be done.

At our meeting please be prepared to discuss:

• What does this day mean to you?
• Identify a woman who has influenced and inspired you and why?
• Any current topics/ events? ie Kamloops female teenager sent home by a teacher to change her outfit as teachers stated it made them uncomfortable. Thoughts?
