Our bargaining team met with the Agency on May 26, 27 and 28. During this session, our team introduced new language that proposes the formation and funding of a new Joint National Child Care Committee comprised of equal representation from PSAC and the Agency.

OTTAWA, May 15, 2015 /CNW/ - Canada's 18 federal public service unions met earlier this week to decide their next move in response to the tabling of Division 20 of Bill C-59, the Budget Implementation Act (BIA), which gives the government the authority to unilaterally amend the sick leave provisions of the collective agreements covering employees of the core public service.

The PSAC has begun the ratification process of the FNHA/DCL 22000 tentative agreement.  Members within Metro Vancouver should attend one of two meetings being held at SFU Harbour Centre, Room 1535, 515 W. Hastings Street, Vancouver in order to cast a vote. Wednesday, May 20 - 12 noon – 1 PM Thursday, May 21 - 5:30 – 7:00 PM  Download a copy of the ratification kit here. PSAC members rallied in Quebec City this afternoon to stand up for collective bargaining rights and oppose the federal Conservative government's unilateral action against sick leave benefits.
