CBSA Day of Action – We demand fair collective bargaining

October 8, 2015
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
1611 Main Street (rear entrance), Vancouver, BC (Map)

Our rights are under attack. It’s time for us to take action and send a message.

Over the last four years the Harper government has systematically attacked our rights and our collective agreements. First it was severance, then it was our right to strike. The Conservatives are putting national security at risk by cutting front-line officer positions and replacing officers with machines. Now they are attacking our Charter rights by passing laws designed to take away our ability to engage in free collective bargaining and defend our sick leave.

Enough is enough. We enforce the Charter every day. Our charter rights must be respected.

The PSAC and CIU have called a day of action for Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, for Thursday, October 8th.

Guest Speakers @12:30 in Vancouver

  • Aaron Eckman – BC Federation of Labour
  • Jessica Kerek – FB Bargaining Team Member
  • Tracey Cochrane – PA Bargaining Team Member
  • Bob Jackson – PSAC Regional Executive Vice-President
