Dear Sisters and Brothers:

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2015 BC Regional H&S conference being held Saturday and Sunday, November 14-15, 2015 at the Sheraton Airport Inn in Richmond BC.

The application deadline is October 7, 2015.  Applications received after this date will be placed on a list according to the date and time received, and considered for any remaining seats.

The theme for this conference is When Crazy Stuff Happens are We Safe at Work.

The objective of this conference is to create a forum for Health and Safety activists to reflect upon, discuss and take action on current health and safety issues such as: violence and bullying awareness, mental health in the workplace, regressive labour laws Bill C-4, improving return to work outcomes and H&S fundamentals.

The conference is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am on Saturday November 14, 2015 and will close at 3:30 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2015 and all will be in accordance with the PSAC BC Travel Policy.

Registration Fee

There is a $50.00 per participant registration fee which is due upon receipt of your participant confirmation letter and should be made payable to PSAC BC, and sent to #200-5238 Joyce Street Vancouver BC, V5R 6C9

Participant Selection

Participant selection will be based on a number of criteria, all of which is outlined in the application form. Members interested in attending as participants should complete their applications on line or submit a completed application to Rosemary MacKenzie in the Victoria Regional Office at mackenr@psac.com or by fax at 250-953-1066.  The deadline for applications is October 7, 2015

There will be a limited number participants selected so be sure to submit your application early

Deadline for Conference Applications  Wednesday October 7, 2015 at 4:30 pm.
