Federal public service workers are showing up every day to deliver crucial services we all depend on—even though they stopped getting paid properly. Over 200,000 workers and their families are still suffering financial and emotional fallout from the Phoenix pay system disaster.
Halloween is almost here. This will mark the second anniversary of members engaging in large scale actions and mobilization around the Phoenix pay system.
In the spirit of the season, we want to hear from members in BC.
Send us a photo or video of your Halloween costume or decorations, workplace actions, carved pumpkins, banners, signs or anything else that lets the government know you are tired of not getting paid properly. Contact your PSAC regional office if you’d like some of our Phoenix materials.
We’ll use what you send us to show the government they have to do more to ensure you get paid correctly and that they must negotiate a collective agreement that recognizes the value of your work.
Send your photo or video to BraggP@psac-afpc.com or upload your files using the form below.
The four best ideas or submissions (as voted upon by PSAC members) will win a made in Canada gift basket and all of the entries will be entered into a random draw for one of 20 Here for Canada swag packs. We’ll let the winners know the week after Halloween.
Help us show the government how you feel after almost three years of Phoenix pay problems. Send us your entry today!
