On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, PSAC B.C. is pleased to share the report from the PSAC B.C. Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members, which was held in February 28, 29 and March 1 2020. Almost 50 PSAC members from across the province took part the conference, which was held under the theme "Building our Power for Change: Equity for All”.

Almost 50 PSAC members from across the province gathered in Vancouver on Saturday at the 2020 Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members, which was held under the theme "Building our Power for Change: Equity for All”. It was a busy weekend: over two days the participants developed strategies to build partnerships, coalitions, and networks for advocacy; discussed ways to broaden the base of union activists from their communities; identified political priorities for PSAC racialized members; and contributed to the development of a PSAC policy to address systemic racism.

Here, on Turtle Island, most Indigenous communities mark the longest day of the year by reminding ourselves of all the good things in our lives and by giving thanks for all that the earth has shared with us.
