Parks Tentative Agreement 2018 Information Sessions and Vote - BC

PSAC is holding in-person and on-line webinar meetings for Parks members in B.C. All of the latest Parks bargaining and ratification information, including the tenatative agreement, can be found at the national website.

As per Regulation 15 of the PSAC Constitution, all members must attend a meeting – either by webinar or in-person – in order to cast a vote.

Voting Period

The voting period takes place between March 19 and April 26, 2018.

In-person meetings

Omar Murray, Parks Bargaining team member, will make a presentation and be available to answer questions. Please note the meeting start times.

  • Tuesday April 3 | Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve | Skidegate, Haida Heritage Centre, Bill Reid Room | meetings at 11:00 and 11:30
  • Thursday April 12 | Mount Revelstoke National Park | Revelstoke Legion, basement | meetings at 18:00 and 19:00
  • Tuesday April 24 | Pacific Rim National Park Reserve | Ucluelet Community Centre, Room 1 | meetings at 16:00, 16:30, 17:00 and 17:30

Webinars

To ensure our members have the facts and understand the impact of the tentative agreement, PSAC is holding live and interactive webinars. Omar Murray, Parks Bargaining team member, will make a presentation and be available to answer questions.

Note: you must pre-register for these webinars ahead of time.

To register for one of the webinars, select the date you wish to a participate and register at the link. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Technical notes

  • Please join the webinar a few minutes early to make sure you are able to log-in and address any technical problems in advance.
  • VOIP is available; however, we find that dialing into the toll free number on your phone while viewing the webinar on your computer may work better, depending on your computer and bandwidth.
  • The webinar may not work on all tablets.
