Speaking to a House of Commons emergency committee meeting yesterday to discuss the situation surrounding the Phoenix payroll system, Donna Lackie, National President of PSAC’s Government Services Union (GSU) component, urged the Liberal government to move faster to fix the new pay system.

PSAC members who work within Treasury Board, Parks Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, joined by colleagues in CAPE and PIPSC, took part in actions in cities across British Columbia on June 8th 2016.

Media Advisory: On June 8, the Public Service Alliance of Canada will be mobilizing its members who work with Treasury Board, including at Parks Canada, the Canadian Border Service Agency, Canada Revenue Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection to demand a quick and fair resolution to contract negotiations with their employers and to support their bargaining teams.
