LAND, TRADE & DEMOCRACY: A dialogue about the Colombian conflict, Canada-Colombia relations and our role as Canadians

The Good Jobs for a Green Future Conference will bring together British Columbians from across the Labour and Environmental movements, as well business, First Nations, community, government, and other sectors interested in building a strong green economy.  Through a combination of panel discussions, workshops, and plenary speakers, you will deepen your understanding of the issues, and be part of mapping out a green jobs plan for BC.

"Designed for youth, by youth, the Our Voices: Youth Building a Connected City conference will explore issues related to isolation and disconnection in Metro Vancouver, and offer you the chance to help come up with solutions.

If you are between the ages 15 and 26, we invite you to take part in this exciting, interactive day-long event! As a conference participant, you will share your stories, discuss strategies for change, and help craft recommendations for Metro Vancouver's decision makers to build a more connected city."

On Saturday, September 15 PSAC members across the country will be demonstrating their support for public services and talking about how the cuts are affecting all Canadians.
