Women Reaching High! PSAC BC invites you to a weekend in the Okanagan.

This course, designed for PSAC women in the Southern Interior, will help continue the momentum of building real equality in our Union by developing strategies to advance women's issues and improving our Union. Come and join us for an unforgettable weekend of learning, empowerment, reflection and solidarity.

Join us, September 14,15,16 2012, at the Naramata Conference Center, a rustic retreat in the heart of nature.

You are invited to attend the ‘Children and Livable Cities Forum’. This Forum will explore how low wage poverty is a key challenge to creating livable cities. This Forum will explore methods for engaging with families in your community struggling with low wage poverty and how to document the stories of low wage workers and foster productive dialogue about living wages through using photography and other various forms of expression. Thursday, September 13th marks the third AGM of the Vancouver Island Human Rights Committee (VIHRC) of the Public Service Alliance of Canada. Please make a point of supporting your committee by joining in this landmark meeting. Join us for food, drink and guest speaker (s) and the election of the coming year's executive. This year let's all make an effort to increase our ranks by inviting a friend to the AGM, someone who has never attended a meeting.
