Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® asks men (and anyone else who wishes to participate) to literally walk one mile in women’s shoes to raise funds and awareness for the Victoria Women’s Sexual Assault Centre. May 11-12, 2012 - Program runs Friday evening and all day Saturday

Join workers, advocates, unions, experts and community allies who are committed to protecting and strengthening the rights of newcomers to our province’s labour market.Through speakers and participatory sessions, participants will examine the impact of current policies, explore solutions, and develop strategies for joint action. This workshop is free but pre-registration is required.

A half-day session designet to help members and Local activists understand their roles in the Workforce Adjustment Appendix (WFAA) process, strengthen skills, and feel more prepared to anticipate and respond to WFAA situations.
