PSAC negotiates wages and working conditions for employees in almost 150 Locals and in hundreds of workplaces in our region. See below for national and regional updates.

We have been hearing a lot of questions concerning our new agreement with CRA. Below you will find answers to some of the most common ones. Please contact your UTE/PSAC local president if you need answers that are not in this document. We will continue to update this post in the coming weeks.

On August 8 the PSAC/UTE bargaining team resumed negotiations with the employer while members showed their support in worksites across the country. Together we let CRA management know that we expect a fair contract, and we are ready to stand together and take further action if we don’t see significant improvements at the bargaining table.Because it’s 2016, and four years is far too long to wait for a fair contract!

Workers at Prince George Airport have a new collective agreement. Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) / Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE) Local 20212 working at the airport voted Wednesday to ratify a tentative agreement reached earlier in the week. Highlights of the five-year contract, which came into effect in April 2016 and expires in March 2021, include a wage increase averaging 2.5% per year over the life of the agreement, and improvements to language around staffing and safety equipment.
