The PSAC/UCTE bargaining team is meeting this week, October 18 and 19, with the employer. Our first two day session will include an exchange and walk-through the bargaining proposals from each party. The team has further meetings scheduled in November and December and discussions are ongoing regarding the essential services agreement. Your PSAC/UCTE team is looking forward to productive discussions resulting in a fair collective agreement that values the work of members at the airport. We will keep you up to date as the process unfolds.

Greetings Sisters and Brothers, The federal government has promised that by October 31, 2016, all of the remaining cases of the Phoenix pay system will be resolved. You can see PSAC’s National Executive Vice-President, Chris Aylward discuss PSAC’s reaction to this promise on CTV.
Justin Trudeau said he’d fix public services and repair the relationship with the workers who deliver them. Now is the time.

CRA workers ratify new contract

PSAC/UTE members working for the Canada Revenue Agency ratified a new collective agreement with their employer today. This puts an end to a bargaining process that took more than four years.
