The B.C. Federation of Labour is seeking a candidate to fill the post as a Director to move forward the Federation’s work on issues of vital concern to the province’s union and non-union workforce. Yesterday the government crammed through Bill C-45, incorporating hundreds of pages of major legislative changes that Canadians have not been consulted on. This government knows it would lose public support if each of these initiatives were opened up to public scrutiny and debate.

Fed is holding its Convention from November 26 to 30, 2012. As Brother Jim Sinclair's attached letter mentions (scroll down), each year the B.C. Fed holds a young workers conference just prior to the Convention and this year is no exception.
