On November 20, Trans Day of Remembrance, we commemorate the transgender people we have lost and honour those who continue to endure violence, hatred and discrimination in our communities and in our workplaces.

To: PSAC National Aboriginal Peoples Circle members in BC

In order to maximize participation of our Aboriginal membership at the Sacred Water Ceremony in Victoria, BC on December 10, 2016 the National Aboriginal Peoples Circle has provided limited funding to assist with travel costs.

Aboriginal members who have self identified and are in good standing with PSAC may be approved to claim up to $75.00 dollars per member for such minor costs as mileage, local transit or ferry.

On November 11th we commemorate Remembrance Day by reflecting on the sacrifices made by those who have served, been injured, and the many that have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country and our way of life.

War and conflict can leave veterans with serious, life changing medical, emotional and psychological trauma that impacts themselves and their families. Our government has a responsibility to care for our veterans when they return home.
