PSAC BC, along with local unions and the BC Federation of Labour are partnering with the Aboriginal Community to organize a Sisters in Spirit Vigil to celebrate, honour and support Indigenous women, girls and their families. The vigil takes place on October 4th, 5:00-6:30 pm, at city hall in Vancouver (12th at Cambie).

A message from Bob Jackson

Sisters and Brothers,

This October, we have an opportunity to make Canada a better place. We can elect a government that respects our collective agreements and our right to a healthy and safe workplace.

We can elect a government that will bargain in good faith. One that respects the collective bargaining process, and respects public services and the workers that deliver them.

Develop your skills as a union leader

  • Are you passionate about standing up for unions and workers’ rights?

  • Do you believe in fairness, social justice and human rights?

  • Are you active in your union and interested in deepening your activist knowledge and skills?

The PSAC-BC Region is planning on holding a Young Workers' Conference in the Spring of 2016 in Vancouver!

We are currently seeking members who are willing to play a leading role in the organization of this conference.  The Organizing Committee will work closely with Vanessa Miller, PSAC-BC Young Worker Coordinator, and Monica Urrutia, PSAC Regional Representative, and will be expected to provide their services up to and during the conference.

If you wish to join us on the Organizing Committee please review the following to let us know you are interested.
