The B.C. Regional Council Honours & Awards Committee is proud to put out a call for nominations for PSAC BC’s Solidarity Excellence Awards. The award will recognize members of the BC Region who have rendered service of the greatest distinction and of singular excellence in any field of endeavour, benefiting the PSAC or its members.

The Liberal government tabled a series of offensive counter-proposals in the latest talks between the Union and Treasury Board. After months of Government delays and insulting offers, PSAC bargaining teams representing 90,000 federal public service workers have declared impasse and filed for a Public Interest Commission (PIC) to help negotiations move forward.

Purpose of position: As part of the Regional Office administrative team provides administrative and secretarial support to the Regional Office and participates in the provision of comprehensive administrative services that enables the regional office to fulfill its role in a timely and credible manner.  Under the direction of the Regional Coordinator, assists in the maintenance of the administrative aspects of the regional offices while carrying out a wide variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical responsibilities to ensure the efficient operation of the regional
