Talks have broken off as of October 20, 2018, when Purolator management indicated that would be making an application for conciliation.

PSAC’s Parks bargaining team met in Ottawa November 20 - 22 to prepare a package of demands for their upcoming round of negotiations.  

Government moves from delays to insults in major round of bargaining with PSAC

After months of delays, PSAC bargaining teams representing 90,000 federal public service workers were stunned when the Liberal government tabled a series of offensive counter-proposals in the latest negotiations between the union and Treasury Board.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada stands in solidarity with Canada Post workers and strongly condemns the federal government’s decision to enact back-to-work legislation.  

After almost a year of negotiations, members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers started rotating strikes on Monday, October 22. Read the letter Jamey Mills, Regional Executive Vice President for BC, wrote to the Prime Minister calling on him to show respect for postal workers and to direct Canada Post to negotiate in good faith.
