PSAC members working at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency held a Bargaining Conference in the National Capital Region on October 2-4, 2018, in a preparation of a new round of bargaining. The current four-year collective agreement with the CFIA will expire at the end of December 2018.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada is applying for conciliation to the Minister of Labour to assign a federal conciliator to assist in reaching a tentative agreement for UCTE members working at NAV CANADA.

Our members have been without a collective agreement for 278 days. This is unacceptable, and our members deserve better.

For several years, the Phoenix payroll system has not only disrupted our members’ pay, but it has also been collecting incorrect amounts of membership dues.
