PSAC in the Community

PSAC members across BC are active in their communities in many different ways. Here is a collection of posts that showcases some of our work.

All PSAC members and families in the Victoria Area are invited to join the PSAC Victoria Area Council and march in the Victoria Day Parade, Monday May 21. For the third year in a row, we’ll be marching in the parade, raising the profile of our union in the community, showing the public we’re proud to deliver public services, and talking to them about the disastrous Phoenix pay system.

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) Young Workers Program and United Way Centraide Canada (UWCC) are pleased to present the second annual CLC/UWCC Post-Secondary Scholarship.

Friends, It’s that time of year again: summer has turned to fall and the United Way’s Workplace Charitable Campaigns have begun. I have been involved with and am particularly proud of the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. The GCWCC is the largest workplace charitable campaign in Canada and is also one of the most successful, thanks to the generosity of the thousands of union members who work in the federal public service.
