Who’s counting?

April 28 is the National Day of Mourning when we remember those who have lost their lives or suffered injury and illness because of their work.

We’ve been at the table with Treasury Board for nine months – and frankly – time is running out.

April 28 is the labour movement’s most solemn day. Every year, thousands of workers, friends and families of fallen workers gather at ceremonies across Canada to recognize the National Day of Mourning for workers killed or injured on the job. As we mourn for the dead, the Canadian Labour Congress continues to fight for the living.

Summer Institute for Union Women, July 2-6, 2019

The PSAC BC Education Program is pleased to offer five $500 education subsidies to PSAC BC women members who are registering for the Western Region Summer Institute for Union Women (SIUW) being hosted by the BC Federation of Labour on July 2-6, 2019 at UBC in Vancouver.

The theme is “Equity. Justice. Reconcili-action: Building worker power through Intersectional feminism and activism."
