Just two weeks after our April session, our bargaining team met with the employer again in Ottawa from May 8 to 10, 2018, to continue bargaining.

The Treasury Board claims process for Phoenix has recently been expanded to cover financial losses caused by Phoenix related tax implications for the 2017 tax year. PSAC encourages members to review the new eligibility, and file a claim if applicable.

New elected officers

Chris Aylward was elected National President of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, and Magali Picard as the new National Executive Vice-President, at the union’s national convention in Toronto.

PSAC has a job opening in the Vancouver Regional Office.

Under the general supervision of the Regional Coordinator, and as part of regional and national teams that include other regional office and headquarters staff, the Organizer builds the Union by initiating, coordinating and implementing organizing campaigns for the purpose of recruiting new members into the PSAC.
