PSAC BC, along with the BC Federation of Labour and many of its affiliates, is helping sponsor the BC Lions Be More Than A Bystander campaign for the third year in a row.

Our NAV CAN bargaining team continued negotiations May 7 - 11, 2018 in Ottawa.

The Auditor General’s second report on Phoenix is a scathing indictment of both the current Liberal and former Conservative governments. It provides further evidence that government was negligent in both the development and implementation of the new pay system.

We know it has been some time since bargaining commenced last October and first, we’d like to thank you for your support of the team and your continued vote of confidence.

We can report we finally made some progress at our last session and some items have been resolved to the satisfaction of the Union bargaining team.

Although we cannot yet provide the detailed language for your review and approval until a tentative agreement is reached; we can report after seven days of face to face meetings we have resolved the following:

Airline pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) are in a difficult round of bargaining for a first-ever collective agreement with WestJet Airlines. The membership has given ALPA a strike mandate and negotiations are at a critical juncture. WestJet pilots are determined to win industry-standard compensation and working conditions.
