PSAC BC is pleased to announce that the 2021 PSAC B.C. Regional Young Workers’ Summit will be held January 29 – 30, 2021 virtually via Zoom under the theme Being Young and Leading Change.

PSAC BC is hosting an educational webinar designed to give members a general overview of the upcoming changes to the Canada Labour Code Pt. II and the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations impacting federally regulated workers across Canada. The webinar will be held twice:

November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is the start of 16 Days of Activism on Gender-Based Violence.

The PSAC BC Education Program is pleased to offer ten (10) $500 education subsidies to PSAC BC members who are registering for the CLC Winter School in 2021.

The deadline for receipt of your subsidy application for the CLC Winter School is Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 4:00 PM (PST).  Approved subsidy applicants will be notified the week of December 21, 2020.

Members of Local 21018 work hard at the IMP Group facility in Comox helping keep people safe by maintaining and repairing search and rescue aircraft, yet they have been without a contract for over a year. The employer continually dragged their feet and delayed the negotiation process.
