Ottawa – In response to a recent New Democratic Party demand for a countrywide investigation into allegations of corruption at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the Union of Taxation Employees (UTE), a Component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, is of the strong opinion that the investigation currently in progress by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) does not demonstrate the need for an agency-wide probe.

Every three years, the PSAC holds its Triennial National Convention, where delegates from across the union come together, debate issues and set direction for the Union for the next three years.

The plan is designed to set the direction for the Union for the next three years.

The PSAC BC Young Workers Caucus has created a document designed to assist Locals in getting young workers involved and active in the Union.

The 8-page Guide To Involving Young Workers is full of tips, ideas, and resources for Local Executive members who want to engage and empower the next generation of leadership. Download it now, or contact Monica Urrutia for a supply of printed copies for your Local.

PSAC has joined with the Council of Canadians and others to file for intervener status in a lawsuit seeking to prevent the closure of the Canadian Wheat Board.
