On November 26, 2020 the PSAC Education and PSAC Social Justice Fund presented the webinar “Worker Solidarity in Action: Stories from Guatemala”. During this webinar, participants got to learn about the PSAC Social Justice Fund and what members are doing to advance social justice at home and around the globe, the connection between injustices in Canada and Guatemala, and why Worker education and exchanges are essential to promoting solidarity amongst workers globally.

Thank you to all the members across B.C. that have stuck together and helped us get through an unforseen year of challenges.

Looking forward to a healthier 2021 with COVID-19 under control and a strong "recovery" plan, we will be a healthier workforce and union.

Please continue to take part in online opportunities such as training, webinars and union events that keep us connected and strong.

As women's coordinator of the BC Region, my intention is to continue to focus on affordable child care, gender equity and support the members to the best of my ability.

As part of the End Violence Against Women Virtual Memorial which took place on December 6th, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, the PSAC Vancouver Island Regional Women’s Committee gathered financial donations from members, Locals and Branches and the community towards local women's organisations.
