The Prince Rupert Airport bargaining team, comprised of Barry Tchir, Brian Deschamp and Erna Post are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement for PSAC/UCTE members working at the airport authority has been achieved.

The bargaining team met with the employer on July 23 and 24 in Prince Rupert and both sides worked hard to reach a fair tentative agreement, which the team is recommending that the membership vote in favour of.

A ratification meeting is being scheduled and the full tentative agreement package will be available at that time.

PSAC has produced a number of videos that may be of use to Locals and activists and we've gathered them in one place here at the website.

About PSAC

This video explains how the Public Service Alliance of Canada works. PSAC represents more than 170,000 workers in every province and territory in Canada and in locations around the world. Our members work for federal government departments and agencies, Crown Corporations, universities, casinos, community services agencies, Aboriginal communities, airports, and the security sector among others.

The government must come to the bargaining table ready to negotiate a fair deal for federal public service workers.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is issuing a call-out for equity group members to attend the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) National Bargaining Conference.

PSAC equity activists (Indigenous Peoples, racialized workers, LGBTQ2+ members, and members with disabilities), Regional Women's Committee (RWC) members, and young worker activists (35 years old or younger) are encouraged to apply.
