Our union, along with concerned Canadians in communities across the country, has been working hard to save public services and protect jobs. We are all affected by cuts to services, and we must all take action to defend the public services PSAC members provide to Canadians.

Sisters and Brothers, Like many of you, I stayed up late last night watching for the results and cheering the candidates on. While the outcome of our provincial election may not make itself clear for some time, one thing is clear: the majority of British Columbians voted for change. Regardless of what happens in the upcoming days, I am confident that BC is moving in a better direction. We all should be proud of the role PSAC members played in building a better BC.

We want to continue to draw attention to the Phoenix pay system and its problems and send a strong message to the Prime Minister and MPs that our members have been waiting for too long; fix the Phoenix pay problems and learn from your mistakes! Here are some ideas for how PSAC members can send a strong message to the government and our employers on February 24th.
