PSAC’s tentative agreement with Canada Post will only take effect if it is ratified in a vote by our members. Voting takes place at a meeting, after a presentation and an opportunity for members to ask questions. Every member covered by these agreements has a right to vote in the ratification process, however you must be a PSAC member in good standing to cast a vote. Our bargaining team returned to the negotiating table for three days during the week of December 12. We are all eager to reach a new collective agreement, and our bargaining team is working hard to negotiate improvements.

This is a call out to PSAC equity activists (Aboriginal Peoples, Racialized Workers, Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Trans Members, and Members with Disabilities), Regional Women's Committee members, and Young worker activists (35 or younger) to participate in the upcoming Treasury Board Units Bargaining Conferences.

With a tentative agreement reached last month with Canada Post, our union is preparing for the ratification voting process.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada will be holding an electronic vote for members of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to ratify the tentative agreement between PSAC and CFIA. The voting period will be from January 15 to February 15, 2018.
